General Delivery Information
Horizon Windows & Doors provides delivery services to mainland England, Wales, and Scotland. Please note that certain postcode areas may be subject to restrictions or additional delivery charges.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the delivery terms outlined below.
Delivery Charges
Free Delivery
Orders with a total value exceeding £1,000 may qualify for free delivery within designated delivery areas. Eligibility is subject to postcode location and product type.
Orders delivered outside these areas may incur additional delivery charges. Any such charges will be communicated and must be paid prior to dispatch.
Delivery Schedule
Deliveries are carried out Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm, excluding UK bank holidays.
Delivery dates are allocated based on the weekly delivery schedule for the postcode area provided at the time of order. Customers are unable to select or request a specific delivery date.
While we aim to meet estimated delivery schedules, delivery timeframes may fluctuate at any time due to factors including but not limited to production capacity, manufacturing schedules, logistics constraints, supply chain disruption, or unforeseen operational circumstances.
Horizon Windows & Doors reserves the right to amend delivery schedules where necessary.
Delivery Address
Orders will only be delivered to the address provided at the time the order is placed.
Once an order has been confirmed and processed, the delivery address cannot be amended. Customers must ensure the accuracy of all delivery details prior to completing their purchase.
Delivery Vehicles and Site Access
Deliveries may be carried out using vehicles ranging from small vans up to 18.5-ton rigid lorries equipped with tail lifts.
Customers must notify us at the time of ordering if the delivery location has any access restrictions including:
- Weight restrictions
- Narrow roads
- Height restrictions
- Limited turning space
- Restricted access routes
Failure to notify us of any access restrictions may result in a failed delivery and applicable re-delivery charges.
Unloading Responsibility
All deliveries are kerbside only.
For safety and insurance reasons, our drivers are not permitted to assist with unloading or moving goods into a property.
Customers must ensure that a minimum of two capable individuals are present at the delivery location to safely unload the goods.
Inspection of Goods
Customers must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.
If significant damage is identified, customers should refuse the goods and return them with the driver where possible to allow for faster resolution.

Installation Notice
Customers are strongly advised not to schedule installation or fitting services until all goods have been delivered and inspected.
Horizon Windows & Doors accepts no liability for costs, damages, or delays arising from installations scheduled prior to product inspection.
Once products have been installed, we cannot accept responsibility for damage claims relating to those items.
Failed Deliveries
If a delivery cannot be completed due to reasons including but not limited to:
- No one available to accept the delivery
- Insufficient unloading assistance
- Restricted or inaccessible delivery location
- Incorrect delivery information
The goods will be returned to our premises and re-delivery charges will apply.
Re-delivery will only be scheduled once all applicable charges have been paid in full.
Failed Delivery Charges
Mileage Charge
£1 per mile from our distribution location to the delivery address.
Re-delivery Charge
£55 per item.

Composite Doors
Delivered using vehicles ranging from small vans to 18-ton rigid lorries with tail lifts.
Free delivery is available to most areas in England, Wales, and Scotland including Edinburgh and Glasgow, subject to postcode restrictions.
Bifold Doors & sliding doors
Delivered using vehicles ranging from small vans to 18-ton rigid lorries with tail lifts.
Some bifold door systems may require on-site assembly including frames and door sashes.
Free delivery is available to most mainland UK locations, though some areas may require additional carriage charges.
Residential Entrance Doors (PVC & Aluminium)
Delivered using vehicles ranging from small vans to rigid delivery vehicles.
Free delivery is available to most mainland England, Wales, and Scotland postcodes.
French Doors (PVC & Aluminium)
Delivered using vehicles ranging from small vans to rigid lorries depending on size.
Free delivery is available to most mainland UK locations.
Cortizo Sliding Doors & Alunet Sliding Doors
Delivered using vehicles ranging from small vans to 18-ton rigid lorries with tail lifts.
Free delivery applies to most mainland UK regions.
PVC & Aluminium Windows
Delivered using vehicles ranging from small vans to rigid lorries.
Free delivery applies to most mainland England, Wales, and Scotland postcodes.
Roof Lanterns
Includes systems such as Korniche, Atlas, Sheerline, and Ultraframe.
Delivered using vehicles ranging from small vans to rigid delivery vehicles.
Free delivery is available to most mainland UK locations.
Flat Rooflights
Delivered using vehicles ranging from small vans to larger rigid delivery vehicles.
Free delivery applies to most mainland UK regions.
Cheap Flatglass
Delivered using vehicles ranging from small vans to larger rigid delivery vehicles.
There is a delivery charge of £85 per delivery.
Postcode Restrictions
Certain postcode areas may fall outside our standard delivery zones.
Where applicable, additional carriage charges will be calculated after purchase and must be paid before the order is processed or dispatched.
